CAPSULE REVIEW: helix (the text editor, not the shape)

My favorite editor, though sadly like everyone else I've been sucked into the VS Code ecosystem and I rarely use helix any more. Wish it had a client-server structure. Unfortunate side effect: I barely function in vim now.

Since originally writing this review I switched to vim mode (actually a neovim extension) in VS Code and I find helix hard to use. I should check out the evil helix variant. I will let the original rating stand, though.
